Original German WWII Luftwaffe Panzerhandlampe FL56211 - Panzer Lamp

Original Item: Only One Available. Panzerhandlampe (armored hand lamp) which was used as a mobile landing strip light for the Luftwaffe and as a mechanics light for repairing planes, armored vehicles and even tanks. Due the sturdy construction they were very durable, definitely important when being used in the field.
When loaded with battery it weighs 10 lbs. The hanging hook is study and the glass bulb cover is undamaged. The steel case shows surface rust and age but overall is in very good condition. It is nicely marked one one data plate with:

The lamp head unscrews, but it is frozen and we did not want to force it open. Battery appears to still be inside due to the weight. We do not know if it works. Offered in very good condition a rare piece that is hard to find on the collector’s market.
