  • Original Item: Only One Available. This is a very nice WWII German Luftwaffe Officer's Early Aluminum Buckle and Clasp, as used on the standard bullion brocade belt. These were worn with the dress uniform for ceremonial occasions, and were standard issue to all officers with their dress uniform. The belt buckle is a die struck/stamped, aluminum based construction example that has been silver washed. It depicts a gilt early droop trail pinned eagle on a pebbled background that is surrounded by an oak leaf wreath which is tied together at the bottom. It still retains the attached box loop, as well as the other box loop with claw that attaches to the belt on the other side.

The buckle is in very good shape, still bright and shiny on the front, while the reverse shows that it definitely did see a good amount of service during the war. Overall a lovely example of a hard to find WWII German Dress Belt Buckle, ready to add to your collection!
