Original Item: Only One Available. This is a lovely service used machine embroidered breast eagle from a German WWII Luftwaffe (Air Force) M44 HBT "Reed Green" Combat Uniform. It was cut out right around the stitches attaching it, some of which are now missing due to wear or damage. Measuring approximately 3 3/4" x 1 3/4", on the rear you can see the HBT fabric of the uniform it was cut off from, though some is torn off. We can also see some wear and damage to the fliegerblau (flyer's blue) wool base material that the eagle is embroidered on.
With great color showing age toning and wear, this is really a great "salty" example. Ready to display!
