Original German WWII Named Luftwaffe Belt with Steel Painted Buckle

Item Description

Original Item: Only One Available. This is a very nice WWII German Wehrmacht Luftwaffe EM/NCO's Belt Buckle (Koppelschloß) with correct leather belt. It is embossed with the wartime Luftwaffe straight tail eagle on a pebbled central field, surrounded by a wreath. The buckle is of 1940 pattern, die stamped, steel construction, with a dark blue/grey painted finish, which is still present on about 40% of the buckle. The rest has worn off due to use.

The belt itself measures 38” when fully extended, though it does not have any maker or size marks. The inside of the belt is named to Conrad Kreuger. The leather is definitely worn, and has some cracks from age and use. Belt also has old stitching marks showing that it was shortened. The black finish on the outside of the belt is mostly present, however it is also cracked/checked due to age. Overall a great example of a hard to find WW2 German Belt.
