Original Items: Only One Set Available. This is a very interesting set of WWII period miniature edged weapon items, including two miniature swords, a miniature bayonet, and a miniature Luftwaffe 2nd Model Dagger. We sometimes see these called "salesman samples", but we believe they are more likely intended as collectibles. Some of these also definitely look like they would have been very useful as letter openers.
This set includes:
- One German WWII Miniature 2nd Model Luftwaffe Dagger. Measures 7 3/4" in length.
- One German WWII Miniature 98k dress bayonet letter opener marked D.R.G.M. on one side, and maker marked by SMF with their "Seated King" logo. Measures 8 5/8" in length.
- One German WWI-WWII miniature lion head artillery officer sword with troddel knot. Measures just over 9" in length.
- One German Eagle Head Sword with bullion troddel knot. Measures 9" in length
The miniature edged weapons are all nickel plated with steel blades cast into alloy hilts. Definitely a great little set of small German edged weapon items.
