Original German WWII Lot of Luftwaffe Fl.U.V. Marked Mess Dinnerware - Porcelain Coffee Mug, Saucer, and Deep Plate with Aluminum Plate

Original Item: Only One Available. This is a lovely set German WWII Luftwaffe Dinnerware, as would be found in the mess hall. All items are marked on the bottom with the Luftwaffe Eagle insignia, surrounded Fl.U.V., for Flieger Unterkunft Verwaltung, or the Flight Barracks Administration, the agency responsible for Luftwaffe accommodations, and the set represents a nice cross section of the type of items usually seen
There are sour items in this set, which include:
● One small porcelain coffee mug dated 1941, maker marked on the bottom with the maker logo of EPIAG of ELBOGEN, a brand name of Springer & Co., located in Elbogen, then part of the so-called "Sudetenland". Measures approximately 2 3/8"H x 3 3/8"W not counting the handle.
● One saucer for a tea cup or coffee mug, measuring about 5 3/4 inches in diameter. It is maker marked on the bottom with a (Crown) / W / Bavaria over a date of 1942.
● One Deep Plate measuring approximately 9 1/8 inches across, marked on the bottom with the logo of known maker Bauscher of Weiden, Bavaria, over a date of 1942.
● One aluminum plate measuring approximately 6 1/2" across, marked on the bottom with FISSLER 1-10.
The various porcelain items show wear from use, but no major damage such as cracks or repaired chunks. The aluminum plate however does show some dents from use and storage. A perfect starter set for anyone looking to get into German WWII era porcelain!
