Original Item. Only One Available. This is a good example of a propaganda leaflet dropped on American soldiers by German pilots during World War II. The leaflet shows dead American soldiers with the caption:

There are two kinds
Of men on the frontier
Those who are dead - 
And those who are about to die.

The back depicts FDR showing that he once said “I assure you again and again that no American boys will be sacrificed on foreign battlefields.” This was a false promise as FDR then declared war and as a result hundreds of thousands of American soldiers died. 

The leaflet measures 5 ¾ x 8 ¼” and has folding marks and some tearing.
