Original Item: Only One Available. Here we have a very nice late war pattern Cap Eagle and Cockade trapezoid, cut off from a German WWII Army M43 Field cap (Heer M43 Feldmütze). The insignia are sewn onto a field gray (feldgrau) wool cap section, which has the center seam from the front of the cap and measures 4 5/8"W x 2 1/4". It features a fine machine BeVo embroidered insignia trapezoid, which features an eagle with gray thread on a light green base, the Heer colors in use from 1940 onwards, and below this is a tri-color cockade, The trapezoid measures approximately 2 3/8"W x 1 3/4". Both the insignia and the fabric shows good amount of staining from use.
