Original German WWII Kriegsmarine Officer Coastal Artillery M43 Field Cap
- Original Item: Only One Available. (Marineartillerie Einheitsfeldmütze). A field cap constructed of field-grey wool, with fold-down sides and back panels with gently sloping, downward scallops to the front, the front of the cap features a wonderfully detailed bullion embroidered, Kriegsmarine-style eagle in gold/orange metal wire mounted to a green woolen base. Below the eagle is a bullion embroidered, national tricolor cockade in black, silver and red. The hat bears a gold twisted cord around the crown. The skirt arms display the usual square-ended pattern and are secured at the front of the cap with two brass anchor Kriegsmarine buttons. The cap features a cardboard-reinforced visor at the front, the interior is lined in green rayon, unmarked, measuring approximately to a US size 7 1/4 (58cm). The cap is very well-preserved, with minor soiling on interior liner, and in overall extremely fine condition.
