Original Item: Only One Available. The 6x30 Dienstglas was one of the most used German issued binoculars of WWII. This example is marked for the Kriegsmarine, fully functional, with slightly faded optics. It is nicely marked as follows on the base of the left barrel:
CARL ZEISS
JENA
6x30
2082267
And on the right barrel:
(KREIGSMARINE EAGLE)
M
Nr. 417
The aluminum variation of these are very difficult to find. The set is missing the neck strap. The binoculars comes in their original leather carry case embossed with the logo of Carl Zeiss, Militärabteilung Jena with the letter “I” stamped in the center of the lid. The carrying strap is gone, as is the front closure strap, but the knob remains.
These are a lovely service used example of the ever so popular Dienstglas binoculars! Comes ready for display.
