Original Item: Only One Available. Fantastic and hard to find WW2 German 3.7cm Naval flak inert shell, Dated 1934 and clearly marked with an M for Marine (Naval). It measures 14.5 inches high. The fuse is stamped with Waffen acceptance stamp. The projectile has the correct ordnance, maker and date stamps as does the brass shell base. The yellow paint denotes H.E. with tracer.
Unloaded or dummy grenades, artillery shell casings, and similar devices, which are cut or drilled in an BATF-approved manner so that they cannot be used as ammunition components for destructive devices, are not considered NFA weapons. The fuze is marked 3,7cm KZ40 blw 42 3b (KRIEGSMARINE STAMP). The code blw denotes manufacture by Gritzner-Kayser AG, Karlsruhe/Baden. The fuze and projectile are removable from the casing. The bottom of the casing is marked:

The 3.7 cm Flak 18/36/37 was a series of anti-aircraft guns produced by Germany that saw widespread service in the Second World War. The cannon was fully automatic and effective against aircraft flying at altitudes up to 4,200 m.
