Original German WWII Insignia Mounted on Souvenir Aluminum Plaques - 3 Insignia on 2 Plaques

Original Item: Only One Set Available. Here we have a lovely set of two 3 1/8" x 4 5/16" (80mm x 110mm) aluminum plaques, both of which read Souvenir of the campaign in Germany 1945 on the front. The font is identical, and we have seen a similar example before, so it looks like these were made to capitalize on the large German WWII insignia collecting market that sprang up in the immediate post war period.
One of the plaques has a Wehrmacht close-winged eagle badge, looking to be made from zinc, and of the type that would be put on the Tropische Kopfbedeckung DAK Sun helmets. The other has a small Panzer "Danziger" style Totenkopf skull from a collar tab, as well as a small stamped metal Eagle over a tri-color cockade insignia, as would be seen on a cap. The original insignia both have a lovely patina, and their aluminum backing plates show some great period wear as well.
