Original German WWII Heer Artillery Officer Visor Cap

Original Item: Only One available. Artillery Officer’s Visor Cap offered in very good condition, honest example with wonderful early war features.
Body exterior is constructed of correct grey green smooth wip cord type wool with red wool piping around top with red wool piping around the dark green wool band. Eagle is made of stamped silver grey metal, wreath is stamped metal with an early war metal cockade. Chinstrap is the standard type made of silver aluminum wire, the visor brim is thin fiber type with black gloss finish.
The inside is lined with brownish gold silk rayon type material. The brown leather sweat band is very nice but is torn at both temple locations is about size 55. The lining is nicely stamped in silver:

The interior condition is very nice with minor wear to the lining. The cap’s exterior is near excellent with light field wear. Overall hat was not worn much, shows very little wartime wear, just the post war age.
