  • Original Items: Only One Set Available. This is a very nice set of German WWII Heer Army Panzer Collar Tabs & shoulder boards. Known as Kragenpatte in German, these were attached to the collars to indicate the rank and branch of the wearer. The Panzer armored corps in particular had the design of their insignia change over the NSAP period, particularly when certain troops began to wear the iconic black tanker uniforms.

This lovely little set consists of the following:

    - One PAIR (left and right) of 1935 Pattern Heer Army Panzer EM/NCO field uniform collar tabs, with the standard internal lacquered buckram stiffeners under the wool. They are stitched together. These have two parallel machine embroidered Litzenspiegel on the flaschengrün (dark bottle-green) wool backing, symbolizing the double braid of the 19th century. Each of these has a rose pink Mittelstreifen (median strip), the correct Waffenfarbe (Corps Color) for armored troops and tank destroyers. Beginning in 1938, the corps color was removed for EM/NCO collar tabs.

    - One PAIR of Heer Army Enlisted Panzer Shoulderboards. They are the button-attached style with Rosa (Rose-pink) piping around the edges, the Waffenfarbe (corps color) during WWII for the Panzers (Armored Troops) and Panzerjäger (Tank Destroyers).

A great set of Panzer Collar tabs and shoulder boards, ready to display!
