Original Item: Only One Available. This is a superb BeVo style machine embroidered Wehrmachtadler breast eagle from a German WWII Heer (Army) NCO's or Officer's Uniform, with the standard 1940 pattern light green background, with a silver bullion thread eagle. These were worn on the breast of the uniform tunic, just above and partly on the pocket.
This example was cut off a uniform, complete with the surrounding fabric. The insignia is about 4 1/4" x 1 7/8", with the uniform section measuring approximately 5 1/4" x 4 1/8". The uniform section is the correct Feldgrau (Field gray) colored wool, and the thread used to stitch it the the uniform is the same color, and hard to see.
A great example of a German WWII "Cut Off" eagle, ready to display!
