Original German WWII Heer Army Belt with Steel Buckle by Brüder Schneider - dated 1937 & 1940

Original Item: Only One Available. This is a very nice service used WWII German Wehrmacht Heer (Army) EM/NCO's Belt with a Steel Buckle (Koppelschloß). The buckle is embossed with the Heer motto GOT MIT UNS ("God with us") surrounding a NSDAP Party Eagle. The buckle a nice 1940 pattern gray green painted steel construction box buckle with a smooth background. Much of the paint has worn off the buckle exterior, giving the buckle a nice patina from honest wear. A great service worn example that has really been there!
There is no marking stamped into the metal of the buckle, however it still retains the leather tab, which still has a legible maker mark on the reverse:

The black finished belt itself measures about 40” in overall length, and is marked 100 on one end, for 100cm, which is about 39.3 inches. It also still has the full manufacturer information stamped onto the clip end:

The belt is still supple and in solid condition, though the black finish on the exterior is definitely worn. The end clip is aluminum, correct for an early belt such as this, and has a maker marking that we do not recognize.
