Original Items: Only One Available. This is a rather rare and absolutely beautiful, almost unissued German Navy Admin Captain’s Overcoat.
This example is in near mint condition, and is made of a high quality dark Blue wool, with the same dark Blue lapels that fold back. Buttons are silver with the Anchor and are a solid back, they are marked on the reverse with Kriegsmarine 1940. The shoulder boards are sewn into the sleeves, and are light blue based with the Silver twist cord on top for officers. Featured on the shoulder boards are 2 rank pips, identifying the rank as a Captain. The shoulder boards are held down with screwpost buttons. On the back are more KM silver buttons. Liner is a full satin/silk material, almost black in color. The liner is very nice and covers the inside completely, without damage.
Both sleeves feature silver bullion insignia for Administrative and are in lovely, almost brand new looking condition. Beneath the lower sleeve insignia are 4 stripes identifying this further as being worn by a Captain.
This is a lovely, near excellent example of a WW2 German Naval Officer’s wool overcoat. Comes more than ready for display.
