  • Original Item. One-of-a-Kind. This is a great fragment of original German WWII aircraft skin, taken from a crashed German fighter plane by American 3rd Army Ambulance Driver Chet Cieslinski according to the attached tag of provenance.

The piece is rather jagged and bent, measuring roughly 6 ½ x 4 x 2”. The original tag reads on one side:

    WORLD WAR TWO
    from Germany from
    A fighter plane German

    And on the other side:

    From estate sale
    Chet Cieslinski
    St. Clair    2000

The fragment retains most of its original dark gray paint on one side with heavy scratching on the other side.

A great piece for the aviation collector, ready for further research and display.
