Original German WWII Field Police Winter Fur Hat - Dated 1944 with RBNr Code
- Original Item: Only One Available. Excellent 1944 dated, possibly unissued, example of a police green wool, with correct silver wash Police Eagle insignia badeg to the front. The fold down flaps on the front, sides and rear are made from Rabbit fur. The side ear flaps and back panel of the cap are held in the upright position by dual, beige cotton/rayon blend tie tapes with a HBT weave that are positioned on the reverse side of the fold down side panels. The reverse of the fold down side ear lugs and back panel are lined in the police blue-grey hbt rayon blend material. The interior of the cap is fully lined in quilted, ribbed, blue-grey rayon with an internal padding. The interior lining is stamped clearly stamped R.B.Nr. 0/1200/0747 56 1944. Size 56cm (approximate size US 7).
