  • Original Item: Only One Available. This is a very nice set of Imperial German WWI Fernglas 08 (Remote Glass 08) or Field Glasses model 1908. These were one of the most used German issued binoculars of WWI. This example is fully functional, with mostly clear optics.

The Field Glasses come with their original bakelite eyecups, Lens top cover, neck strap, and original leather case complete with original instruction label inside the top cover. Sadly, the center adjustment wheel is missing, therefore we cannot determine who the maker is, aside from a letter “K” on  of of the bridges. The leather case still retains its original russett color, with unbroken closure tabs. The neck strap is intact, and pliable, although dry. The binoculars themselves retain almost all of their original feldgrau finish.

Overall a very nice example of the classic eye piece for German infantry officers, NCOs, Aviation Personnel, Artillery and Machine Gun Troops during WWI!
