  • Original Item. Only One Available. Come-along handcuffs, also known as "nippers" or "come-alongs," are antique, often T-handled restraint devices from the late 19th and early 20th centuries designed for pain compliance during prisoner transport. These devices were wrapped around a subject's wrist, the handles secured together, and the chain twisted to control movement.

This set is a great WWII German-marked set still in good functional condition. They are stamped on one end:

    August Schwarz     Berlin S.W.

These are documented as having been used by the Kriminalpolizei, Volkspolizei, Transport Police, Grenztruppen, and Stasi during the war.

A great set, ready for further research and display.
