Original Items. Only One Set Available. This is a great set of toy fortress guns and searchlight pieces, which would make a lovely display. They are marked for manufacture by Hausser (O&M Haußer). They made a whole variety of these well made artillery pieces, and these examples have lovely lithograph camouflage paint jobs, which are well-retained.
The smaller artillery piece has the most wear, with heavy loss of the paint. The mechanism no longer works as intended, and the gun will no longer cock and fire. Still a great display piece, measuring 5 ½ x 2 ¼ x 3 ¾” when the barrel is horizontal.
The Fortress gun is very large with great camo retention, however there is a large piece missing, that being the chain crane piece which could attach to the small piece at the end of the gun. The gun does cock and fire, a great display piece. The set measures 10 ½ x 7 ¾ x 4 ¼” with the barrel horizontal.
The fortress searchlight is in good shape however there is no longer a bulb inside, but the wiring beneath it appears in good order. We are not sure if it would work as intended. The camo is well-retained, and the set measures 6 ¾ x 6 x 5 ¾”.
