Original German WWII Era Army Soldier Bust on Marble Base - Signed

Original Item. Only One Available. This is a lovely German WWII hollow metal bust of an Army soldier wearing an M16 Stahlhelm helmet on a marble base. During the build up to WWII, the first helmets that the Wehrmacht were armed with were re-fitted WWI helmets, which have the distinctive long vent hole lugs for attachment of a "stirnpanzer" armored shield. Due to how recognizable these were, sculptures and other art featuring German helmets often still retained them well into the WWII period.
The bust measures 8 ½” tall and looks to be zinc as it is not magnetic. The marble base measures 2 ⅜ x 3”. The side of the body has a signature, appearing to read Fozimmor but this is clearly incorrect. It is quite difficult to transcribe. The bottom of the marble base has remnants of the green felt buffer material, but it is mostly detached or torn.
