Original German WWII Early Droop Tail EM/NCO Luftwaffe Aluminum Belt Buckle

Original Item: Only One Available. This is a very nice WWII German Wehrmacht Luftwaffe EM/NCO's Belt Buckle (Koppelschloß) in the very early "Droop Tail" Eagle design. This is only seen on the earliest buckles, often made before the war, and it was later replaced with the wartime Luftwaffe straight tail eagle. Nice aluminum construction box buckle with a pebbled background. The buckle is in very good condition, with all the pebbling in good condition, and most of the detail in the eagle present.
There are no markings on the buckle itself, and the leather pull tab is no longer attached, which is not uncommon, as this belt was definitely worn extensively. It is a bit deformed, as the aluminum was softer than steel, but still presents quite well. Ready to display!
