This is an original German WWII era silver plated Alpaca creamer from the Der Deutsche Hof hotel in Nürnberg, a hotel closely associated with NSDAP Party Rally activity and used by senior party figures during the period. The small cup form creamer measures approximately 2 1/4" tall and 3 1/8" across the spout and handle and is marked Der Deutsche Hof on the side, with a wreathed swas device on the underside.

Der Deutsche Hof was located in Nürnberg near the main railway station and became closely associated with the NSDAP during the interwar and Third Reich periods. During the annual Reichsparteitag, or Reich Party Congress, senior party figures stayed at the hotel, and Adolf H was also publicly associated with it during visits to Nürnberg. The hotel later advertised itself using the phrase das Haus des Führers in Nürnberg.

The annual Nürnberg Party Rallies became major political and propaganda events after the NSDAP came to power in 1933. The city was promoted heavily through its associations with the Holy Roman Empire and German historical symbolism, and Der Deutsche Hof became one of the better known hotels connected with the gatherings.

This creamer is a small, heavy service piece made from Alpaca alloy, also known as German silver or Neusilber, with a silver plated exterior. The design is deliberately restrained, with a simple rounded body, short pouring spout, and curved handle.

The creamer remains in very good service used condition. Much of the silver plated surface has developed an attractive blue gray tarnished patina, while areas of wear along the edges expose the underlying Alpaca alloy. The piece has intentionally been left unpolished so that the aged surface and service wear remain intact.
