  • Original Item: Only One Available. This is a genuine German WWII brown leather flap holster intended for the Czech ČZ vz. 27 semi-automatic pistol, known in German service as the Pistole 27(t). The holster features a front-mounted compartment for a spare magazine and is clearly stamped beneath the flap with the wartime maker code:

    oub

This code is attributed to Anton Jellinek & Sohn, Lederfabrik, a leather-goods manufacturer located in Gross Meseritsch, then within occupied Czechoslovakia. The company is known to have manufactured several types of German military leather equipment, including holsters suitable for the CZ-27.

The holster is in fair, service-used condition. The brown leather displays heavy overall crazing, surface wear, and several areas of tearing. The securing strap is weak and should be handled carefully. Heavy verdigris is present around the metal fittings, consistent with prolonged contact between the leather and the copper-bearing hardware. Despite these condition issues, the holster retains its original form, flap, fastening components, and spare-magazine compartment.

The ČZ vz. 27 was a Czechoslovak blowback-operated semi-automatic pistol chambered for the 7.65mm Browning cartridge, also known as .32 ACP. Developed from the earlier vz. 24 design, it is commonly called the CZ-27 by collectors, while its original Czech designation, vzor 27, translates as “Model 27.”

Following the German occupation of the Czech lands in March 1939, the pistol remained in production and was used by German military and police organizations under the designation Pistole 27(t), with the letter “t” indicating tschechisch, or Czech. Wartime examples were produced in substantial numbers and are frequently encountered with German-language markings and military acceptance stamps.

This is an appealing, clearly maker-coded holster with an honest service-used appearance. Its strong oub marking and recognizable CZ-27 configuration make it a suitable companion for a German-service Pistole 27(t) or a representative addition to a German WWII sidearm-equipment display.
