Original German WWII Browning Hi-Power Leather Softshell Holster - dated 1943

Item Description

Original Item: Only One Available. This supple leather holster is maker marked on the back with wartime German letter code cgn, for Rohrbacher Lederfabrik Jos. Poeschel's Söhne, based in Rohrbach/Oberdonau in NSDAP-Occupied Austria. It is dated 43, along with a faint Waffenamt proof, and has traces of what may be a model stamp, possibly P35. The holster is a more compact and tight fitting style than usually seen with softshell holsters. The magazine pouch may look like it is for a Luger, however it is too short, and the circular cutaways are to help grip the magazine's wide floor plate.

The overall condition of the holster is very good, with the expected wear from age and service. The leather is supple, and was originally brown and then dyed to black. It has intact heavy stitching, original belt loops, and pistol ejection strap. Aside from the wear, there are no major defects with this holster.

A really nice solid holster that will complete any WWII Era Browning Hi-Power pistol.
