  • Original Item: Only One Available. This is a great example of the standard German WWII issue heavy leather soft shell flare signal pistol holster, as used throughout the war. Unlike most however, this example is made from brown finished leather, instead of the usual black, indicating it was most likely used by the Gendarmerie Rural Police, who brown leather items. It is in very good condition, and does not appear to have seen extensive use in service. The brown finish is in very good condition, and there is minimal cracking and/or wear, except on the end of the closure strap, which has deteriorated a bit.

It is maker marked and dated on the back between the belt loops:

    Kern Kläger & Cie
    1941
    Berlin

This is a known maker of holsters during the war, who also made items under three letter code "cdc". As this was a holster for police, the company name was used, and there are also no Waffenamt proofs present. The belt loops an D-rings for the shoulder strap on the rear are still intact, as is the securing loop for the cleaning rod, which is not included.

The holster is complete and fully functional, and in great shape. This would be perfect for any WWII German Flare pistol that doesn't have a nice home to live in. Ready to display!
