Original German WWII Bavarian Police Officer Visor Cap with Officer’s Cord - Size 57 ⅛

Original Item. Only One Available. This is a great untouched Third Reich Bavarian police visor cap in nice condition. The cap has the typical police dark green cloth. It features a Gold/green officer´s cord with two gilded buttons. The cap has an original tag sewn to the sweatband for Size 57⅛. The Celluloid diamond is present but there is no maker’s mark.
The cap features a zinc cap eagle and aluminum cockade. The gold and green officer’s cord is in very good condition with the gold still very bright. The two gilt buttons are also in great shape. The exterior of the cap has very light mothing but is overall in amazing shape.
The interior of the cap features a light blue rayon lining with a brown sweatband. There are some small holes in the sweatband but it is overall great. The visor is very solid and has no serious damage.
This is a fantastic example of a WWII Bavarian police cap, ready for further research and display.
