Original German WWII Army Heer Officer Visor Cap - Regimentally Marked

Item Description

Original Item: Only One Available. This is a near excellent condition high quality Officer's Schirmmütze Visor Cap. Fabricated in Army green gray wool, with wide dark green wool cap band, plus three rows of white wool piping around the circumference. The peak visor cap retains matching aluminum eagle with swas and oak leaves, along with a metal cockade with red felt center.

The cap is lined with deep green silk/rayon and shows a full-celluloid diamond bearing the maker name and trademark which has faded but is mostly legible and appears to read MAX PFEIBEN. The leather sweatband is in excellent condition and is regimental ink stamped on the underside:

This marking represents the 14th infantry Regiment which was based in Nuremberg. The cap is ink stamped size 56.

This is a very nice, high quality, Heer Officer peak visor cap from a known Infantry Division offered for sale in very good condition with a beautiful saddle-form shape.
