Original German WWII Army Heer Officer Visor Cap by EREL - Marked on Crown and Band

Original Item: Only One Available. This is a very good condition EREL Officer's Schirmmütze Visor Cap. This is a very high quality manufactured visor. Fabricated in Army green gray wool, with wide dark green wool cap band, plus three rows of white wool piping around the circumference. The peak visor cap retains the mid war aluminum eagle along with an embroidered wreath surrounding a metal cockade with red felt center.
The cap is lined with deep golden-yellow silk and shows a full-celluloid diamond bearing the Erel trademark logo. Unfortunately the silver paint has mostly flaked off, still retained under the celluloid. It still can be read however:

The cap also has a faint embossed stamp over the left ear: Erel Stirnschutz, with some more markings under that cannot be read due to wear. Size of this cap is approximately 56cm, and while the cap does show wear and use, it only adds to the appeal.
This is a very nice, Erel Heeres-Kleiderkasse Officer peak visor cap offered for sale in very good condition, with a beautiful saddle-form shape.
