Original German WWII Army Heer Belt with Steel Buckle - Dated 1940

Original Item: Only One Available. This is a very nice WWII German Wehrmacht (Heer) EM/NCO's Belt Buckle (Koppelschloß). It is embossed with the Heer motto GOT MIT UNS ("God with us"). Nice fieldgrey painted steel construction box buckle with a smooth background. The buckle is in very good condition, though most of the paint on the outside has been worn off. There is some oxidation to the steel, but the maker mark H K can still be seen inside the buckle, and it still retains the leather tab, which is marked:

It measures 38” when fully extended, and is unmarked. It also was made from two belts, and field grafted together about 4 inches from the hook end. The condition of the belt is good, though the leather is somewhat stiff. Most of the original finish is still present on the leather.
Overall condition is very good with an exception eye appeal.
