Original Item: Only One Set Available. This is a very nice original German Deutsches Afrikakorps (DAK) Gas cape in its original canvas pouch, complete with a nice Model 31 Brotbeutel (Bread bag). These items were acquired as a set from a collector, who told us they were purchased as a set from the family of a WWII Veteran. We do not know however whether they were captured and brought back, or purchased on the market.

The gas cape bag is in great shape with both snaps working well, and both loops are present on the back. The gas cape inside still retains its tag:

gdy is the three-letter code for an unknown German manufacturer. The cape still unfolds and is in great unissued shape. The snaps on the bag are marked STOCKO.

The M31 breadbag does not have a shoulder strap or any markings that we can see besides a very faint stamp on one of the straps. The bag is in good shape and has few flaws.

This is a very nice German WWII Field gear set showing honest wear. This would make a fine addition to any collection. Comes ready for further research and display.
