Original German WWII 1940 Luftschutz Gas Mask by AUER

Original Item: Only One Available. This is an excellent condition totally genuine WWII issue German Luftschutz and civilian gas mask. The mask itself is nearly identical to German military issue. The filter still retains the original paper label in complete legible condition and is dated January 1940. The mask is a size 2 and appears to have never been worn as the the eye lenses are in excellent shape and also dated 1940. There are even a spare set of low tint lenses still in the original wax paper in the storage compartment of the carry canister. The canister is nicely marked:

Luftschutzgesetz genehmigtOverall an excellent near unissued example of a wartime German gas mask issued to the Luftschtuz but this type were routinely used by members of the Wehrmacht towards the end of the war when supplied were running low.
