Original Items: Only One Set Available. This is a very nice collection of German WWII Stickpin badges which was brought back from the European theater by a USGI after the war was concluded. Many solders traded these on the way back, and would end up with a pocket full of various different collectible items, and this set represents the typical "haul" one might have come back with.
Stickpins were usually placed in the lapel or tie, and were given out for a variety of reasons, including recognition of donations, awards for achievement, and membership. WWI Veterans also often had stickpins to represent awards they had received. This grouping contains sixteen different stick pins, some of which we were not able to easily identify. Six are award stick pins, many of which show multiple awards stuck together. The others that we could quickly identify are:-
- One DJ German Hunting Association Stickpin.
- One Soldatenbund Soldier's League Veterans Association Stickpin in Silver
- One WHW Winterhilfswerk 1933-1934 Donation Stickpin.
- One DAF 1. MAI labor Day stickpin
- One SS-FM Sponsor Stickpin.
- One Deutsche Wehr Home Defense League Membership Stick Pin
