Anthony Carter's Reference EB8 appearing on Page 46-47 is the model we offer here. It features a heavy cast steel hilt with split muzzle ring, with a 12" unfullered spear point blade, with imperial proofs on the spine and ricasso. The reinforced two piece crossguard is marked 1224, and overall length is 17 1/4 inches. It comes complete with a very nice steel scabbard, with the stylized fag marking in an oval. This company manufactured a very large number of these scabbards for ersatz bayonets.
J. Anthony Carter died in 2001 but his four volume work is acknowledged as the supreme reference work on the subject most especially the Ersatz Volume (No.3) which was his great passion throughout his lifetime.
