Original Item: Found and purchased directly from the Finnish Army, having been supplied by Germany before WW2 when Finland was initially a German ally against the Russians.
These are 100% genuine classic brown leather world war one era Mauser Gewehr 98 (abbreviated G98, Gew 98 or M98) rifle ammunition pouches as used in the WW1 trenches. Each bears original German's maker markings and WW1 dates or other military markings, these pouches are in various degrees of preservation. Some replacement parts and repairs to the leather may also have occurred as these are approximately 100 years old and saw service in two world wars.
