Original German WWI Fighting Trench Knife by Demag of Duisburg

Original Item: Only One Available. Very nice condition single edged blade this is an original fighting knife used by the Germans in WW1. Full tang with all wood hilt secured by two pins. The knife has a short double edged dagger blade of 5 1/2", marked DEMAG / DUISBURG in a circle in front of the steel cross guard on the blade ricasso. This knife was produced by Deutsche Maschinefabrik A-G (DEMAG) of Duisburg as a private purchase item.
The knife comes in an genuine rolled steel World War One scabbard with leather belt loop and strap with ornate button closure.
100% original, a very nice example for display in any quality German edged weapons collection.
