Der Weltkreig (The Wold War) is for the Great War 1914–1918 (Der Weltkrieg 1914-1918). This aside from being a cigarette card album is a concise history of WWI from the German standpoint. The album is divided into chapters of the war and other areas of interest not constrained to just the chronological time frame. There are a total of 214 cards. All cards are present. The breadth of the cards is quite surprising. We were interested to see a card of a British tank and then later one of very rare German tanks. Each of the chapters have the major events of that year and there are maps tracking the action.
