Original Item: Only One Available. This is an authentic Imperial German Naval Jack Flag. Constructed of wool with a bright red, white, black background with a large Eisernes Kreuz (Iron Cross) in the center. It was produced after WWI but before WWII. It is nicely marked on the header with a WWII Kriegsmarine insignia of an Eagle with Swas over the letter M. Also ink stamped: Reichskriegs-Flg. alter Art 1.0 x 17. It measures 1 meter (39.5 ") x 1.7 meters (67 inches). Also retains the rope loops on each end.
Reichskriegsflagge (Imperial War Flag) was the official name of the war flag and war ensign used by the German armed forces from 1933 to 1945.
This battle flag is totally original and is in excellent condition only with no discernible damage anywhere. This is among the very best examples of this exceptionally flag available anywhere.
