Original Item: Only One Available. So often these are missing, the interfacing unit allowing a "Rabbit Ears" pair of Binoculars/Field Glasses to be mounted onto the standard German Optic's tripod. The early production example is constructed almost entirely of BRASS, which has been polished, and dates from the late pre-war 1930's. Brass became a very scarce commodity once WWII started, so these couplers were then constructed from steel.
Original adjustment dials/knobs all in place including a working bubble level and a strip of ivory on the side to be used with a grease pencil to take readings. Only marking are a pre-war codes X10301 and X101F on the underside. There is also X64U marked by the level.
Appears in excellent working order, ready to display or complete your set of optics.
