Original German Pre-WWII Army Heer EM/NCO Pebbled Aluminum Belt Buckle by J. Deutschbein of Euskirchen - Dated 1938

Original Item: Only One Available. This is a very nice WWII German Wehrmacht (Heer) Pebbled Aluminum EM/NCO's Belt Buckle (Koppelschloß), complete with the original leather tab dated 1939. The buckle is embossed with the Heer motto GOTT MIT UNS ("God (is) with us") around the Wehrmacht Wehrmachtsadler (Armed Forces State Eagle). Nice aluminum construction box buckle with a pebbled background. The buckle is in good condition, and is a single piece cast and crimped example. It does show some surface wear on the front, common due to the softer aluminum alloy.
This buckle was originally painted the standard Heer gray, but that is only really present on the reverse now. The front has all the paint mostly worn away, along with a bit of the detail in the eagle. The buckle itself is unmarked, and it still retains the Pre-1941 leather tab, which is fully marked, though very faint due to wear:
