Paul Ludwig Hans Anton von Beneckendorff und von Hindenburg (2 October 1847 – 2 August 1934), usually shortened to Paul von Hindenburg, was a German field marshal and statesman who led the Imperial German Army during World War I. He later became president of Germany from 1925 until his death. During his presidency, he played a key role in the NSDAP seizure of power in January 1933 when, under pressure from his advisers, he appointed Adolf H as chancellor of Germany.

This is an interesting document dated April 27th, 1934 which is dedicated to a soldier, but the writing is difficult to discern, so this piece could use some additional research. It measures 12 ½ x 16 ½” and is the only example we could find. It appears to be fore the “German Reich Warriors League”., or Kyffhäuserbund.

The document has some condition issues including some small holes as well as some staining along the edges of the document itself. 

The Kyffhäuserbund (English: Kyffhäuser League) is an umbrella organization for war veterans' and reservists' associations in Germany based in Rüdesheim am Rhein. It owes its name to the Kyffhäuser Monument (German: Kyffhäuserdenkmal), a memorial built on the summit of the 473 m high Kyffhäuser mountain near Bad Frankenhausen in the state of Thuringia in central Germany.
