Original German & Italian WWII Double Sided Pennant - USGI Bring Back from Sicily dated "Sept. 43"

Original Item: Only One Available. This a very nice WWII European "Axis Powers" Political Wimpel (Pennant), which would be flown from vehicles, houses, or many other locations where it would be seen. It measures about 13" x 6 3/4", and is made from two pieces of painted fabric. One side shows the WWII era Italian Fascist national flag, while the other shows the standard German WWII NSDAP National flat. The edges of the Italian side are folded over and sewn to give the flag a border.
The German side of the flag has Sicily Sept. 43 written below the Swas (hook cross), indicating it was captured during the Allied Invasion of Sicily, which took part in the fall of 1943. Condition is very good, making this a great WWII USGI Bring back from the European Theater. Ready to display!
