  • Original Item. Only One Available. This is a lovely porcelain statue of a Napoleonic era German soldier in full uniform with his flintlock musket, and sword. The statue is colored with gold/bronze powder paint on the cross-straps, comb of his shako, epaulettes, sword and scabbard, the metal fittings of his musket, the cups on his bag, and his shoes. The tip of his bayonet is broken off, and there are a few others chips across the piece. Additionally, the musket itself appears a bit warped, which would have had to occur during its construction.

The porcelain statue is roughly 8 ½” tall with a 2 ¾ x 3 ⅜” base. The side of the base is stamped 1523, likely the model number.

There is also what appears to be a dead pheasant attached to his pack. At his feet are several packs and another shako. A great display piece.
