Original French WWII M1926 Adrian Infantry Helmet - Olive Green

Original Item: Only One Available. Excellent genuine World War II M1926 French Army Artillery "Adrian" helmet. The helmet retains the original olive green paint but is missing the emblem. Size is approximately US 7 (56cm). Features a wonderful complete original leather liner in excellent condition, with complete leather chinstrap. Overall condition of the helmet is excellent, shell shows some minor dings, scratches and paint chips consistent with age.
The M1926 Adrian was an improvement over the original M1915 Adrian helmet design, being stamped from a single sheet of steel, as opposed to the two joined pieces. This reduced production time, and eliminated the characteristic joining ring on the early version. Also, the large vent hole under the comb was changed to a series of small holes, to improve the helmet's strength.
