Original French WWI M1915 Adrian Helmet with Artillery Badge - Horizon Blue

Original Item: Only One Available. This is an excellent genuine World War I M1915 French Army Artillery "Adrian" helmet. The helmet retains the original "dark horizon blue" paint and has a plate with large bomb insignia, crossed cannons and RF to the front, indicating it was for us in an Artillery Unit.
The Size is approximately US 7 (56cm), and it features a wonderful complete original leather liner in excellent condition, with complete leather chinstrap. Liner is stamped A3 in the leather on the front side.
Overall condition of the helmet is very good, shell shows some minor dings, paint ships and areas of minor surface rust. Interestingly, the inside of the helmet under the liner is Khaki, indicating that this is was a helmet originally made for Colonial forces, but was then repainted with the horizon blue for use with French forces.
