Original Item: Only One Available. This is an exceptionally rare french WWI French Longue-vue Monoculaire artillery optic with tripod mount manufactured by G. FOURNIER of PARIS dated 1917.
The optic is constructed of brass and measures approximately 18 in length. It has 3 viewing eye pieces, which can spin to attain different powers of magnification 15x, 23x, and 30x. The optic is nicely marked on the barrel:

The optics are clear and totally functional in all 3 powers. Also included is the original leather transit case which is nicely marked Longue-vue Monoculaire
The wooden adjustable height tripod mount is in excellent condition and fully functional. Overall a wonderful fully functional telescope that was used in the trenches of the Great War, just perfect for any World War One collector.
