Original French WWI Clay Sacred Earth Marker with Dirt from Lorraine in Original Box - Made in Paris

Original Item. Only One Available. This is a very nice clay “Sacred Earth” urn which contains dirt from the battlefield of Lorraine. These were made in Paris in the 1920s to raise funds for Disabled veterans of World War I. The urn comes in its original box which measures 6 x 3 x 1½”. It also comes with an original certificate which certifies the earth as being taken from the battlefield in France.
The front of the urn reads Lorraine with 1914 and 1918 to its sides, with the back reading THIS LANDMARK CONTAINS SACRED EARTH FROM FRANCE. There is a PARIS sticker on the bottom.
A really great piece of the battlefield, put together around 1927 according to the certificate. Comes ready for further research and display.
