Original French Unissued M-1961 Military Machete with Canvas Scabbard

Original Item: Only One Available. First issued in 1961 this was the official Military Machete or fighting knife used by the FRENCH in the Vietnam War. It has a romantic "One thousand and one Nights" style blade 15",overall length 20" absolutely never issued coming with it's official Canvas sheath with top fitting suitable for use with a U.S. Pistol belt of the era. The scabbard is marked SENEC on the reverse, most likely the name of the French Military Contractor.
Condition is excellent, with just a bit of storage wear on the scabbard, and a bit of oxidation on the end tip of the machete blade.
